Summary

Following the first gap, the 15 byte header can be seen, followed by the 528 byte data record. Both are treated as "files" by the file system, however except during a format, the sector headers are not ever rewritten and remain constant, with Bit0 of the flags in the record identifying it as a sector designator.

In this example, the drive is about to write the sector with a data stream starting with 0 and counting to 255 before starting again.
